HOA update: After several emails with promises of having an upcoming Advisory Committee meeting, Pamela (new HOA manager) called me. Upon her request I had sent her the list of topics/concerns to be discussed at the meeting that I had gathered from all of you. She told me that she didn’t want to schedule our meeting until True Homes approved the final member of our committee. She is still waiting…shocker.
In my opinion after having spoken to her, I feel that this Advisory Committee has been put together to make us feel like we have a say in things when truly it seems that True Homes has the last word in the end. I can bring up suggestions/wants/concerns to her from all of us BUT, she’s just the messenger. She works for True Homes right now until all of the Roddey Park phases are complete. That’s when the HOA will get handed over to us. Until then, everything has to get run by this so called Board of Members at True Homes. From what I’ve seen, they move at the speed of a snail.
I’m trying to remain positive, but the entire time we spoke I couldn’t help but feel like she was blowing smoke. I almost feel like I’m just wasting my time with this. I’d appreciate your thoughts/insights etc.
